Psychologist from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, specialist in Strategic Management of Public Policies from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), master’s and doctorate in Social Psychology from PUC-SP. She is a professor at Santo Amaro University (UNISA) and supervisor at the Psychotherapeutic Support Centre for Children and Adolescents Victims of Violence (NAPSI-UNAS). She researches social inequalities, race and gender, violence and public policy. She has experience in social movements and strategic management of public policy.

Social worker graduated from PUC-SP, with a master’s degree in International Health Promotion from the University of Brighton. She works in areas of extreme social vulnerability, coordinating intersectoral networks and social inclusion, in defence and enforcement of rights. She was a researcher at LECUCA and the Redenção na Rua (Redemption on the Street) Programme (Cracolândia/SP). She is dedicated to defending equity and social, racial and minority rights.

Gustavo Mechereffe Estanislau

Doctor from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) and specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (UFRGS). Participates in projects focused on mental health promotion and prevention, such as PRISMA, GEAD, and Cuca Legal. Throughout his career, he has developed projects that integrate health and education, offering support to schools, teachers, and families in promoting emotional well-being and preventing mental health problems. He works with educator training and early interventions, combining health and education for the emotional well-being of young people.

Psychologist, Master’s and Doctorate in Social Psychology from PUC-SP and specialist in Community Therapy from UNIFESP. Since 2015, she has been a professor of Psychology at Universidade Nove de Julho. She has been working with socially vulnerable populations for 18 years and supervises Social Assistance Policy services. She has experience with Participatory Action Research and in Theories of Race and Ethnicity, Public Policy, Social Protection Policy for Vulnerable Groups, and Violence.

Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Postgraduate Programme in Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with research focused on participatory community and children’s processes in the context of the urban landscape. She has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Fortaleza, with experience in extension projects with traditional, peripheral and social minority communities. She served as a consultant for the Urban95 initiative, developing methodologies for active listening and social participation in urban projects. Currently, she is dedicated to participatory projects and technical consulting in architecture and urbanism, with a focus on collaborative practices and social inclusion.

Architect and urban planner, researcher, and agroecologist, she works with bioclimatic architecture, bioconstruction, and ecological planning in traditional territories. She provides technical consulting and develops participatory projects in quilombola communities, settlements, and indigenous lands. She is a researcher at the ORÍ Group, responsible for the architectural proposal of the Boqueirão Quilombo Community Center.

Geographer graduated from USP and project coordinator at the Ame Sua Mente Institute. She has worked in geotechnology companies (EMPLASA, Synergia, Medral) and as a bilingual educator in schools using active learning methodologies. She was a teacher at the Projeto Âncora Learning Community, using active methodologies and a pedagogical project inspired by the Escola da Ponte (Portugal).

She is a woman from a quilombola community, a descendant of people who were enslaved; her grandmother lived to be 115 years old. She recognizes her family as her safe haven—her son as her love and her mother as her strength. She works as a farmer and seamstress, and is a member of the Association of Small Producers and Rural Workers of the Boqueirão Region.

Felipe do Nascimento

A resident of Heliópolis and member of the coordination and leadership of the Black Movement in the territory since 2013. With a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he works in administration, public finance and the third sector. He is an artist and rapper since 1997, nominated for the 2013 MultiShow Award, released his music album on the Platforms entitled Dos Quilombos as Favelas, producer and cultural articulator, with a strong presence in community communication.

She works in territorial mobilisation with quilombola youth, focusing on the defence of territory and well-being. She has worked at SMURB/UFBA since 2004, focusing on biopsychosocial care and mental health care for university students, civil servants and their dependents. She is the creator of the Monitoring Programme for students on leave due to mental health issues. She is a member of the ORÍ Group and works with integrative practices and spirituality in care.

Kátia Isicawa de Sousa Barreto

Social Scientist from UNESP, specialist in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy (Barão de Mauá), Master’s and PhD candidate in Psychiatry and Medical Psychology (UNIFESP). Her doctoral research investigates the social determinants of substance use disorders in clinical and population samples. She works as a researcher in the Department of Psychiatry at UNIFESP, with experience in major national studies on alcohol and drugs, such as the National Alcohol and Drug Survey (LENAD) and the Survey of Drug Use Scenes (LECUCA). She is the author of articles and chapters on treatment, recovery, and public policies in mental health and substance use disorders.

She is a federal civil servant and coordinator of SMURB/UFBA, where she works in healthcare and team management. Her career has been marked by the fight against racism and the defence of comprehensive care for the black population. She is dedicated to research on social vulnerabilities and sickle cell disease.
